COMMUNITY ALERT – THEFT FROM UNOCCUPIED PROPERTY
We are appealing for information following a theft from an unoccupied residential property in the area. The property owner had not visited the address for several months and, upon a recent inspection, discovered that both the electricity meter and gas meter had been removed and stolen. A quantity of metal piping stored within the property was also found to be missing.
The exact time of the theft is unknown due to the property being vacant for an extended period. Enquiries are ongoing to establish when the offence occurred and identify those responsible.
